Philip's family and the rest of the wedding party stayed at the Scioto Inn, which is beautiful! Rich has a massage therapist who offers massages to guests and the guest rooms are luxurious! I was so jealous (I stayed at my parents' home). The basement of the Inn features a private movie theater, bar, and pool table. There's no better place to stay with 30 miles of Urbana!
Kim was wonderful to work with! She addressed our wedding invitation envelopes, made place cards, designed a monogram, and wrote on our Marriage License!
We arranged for the ladies to have a luncheon a day before the wedding. Summer had the back room set up for us and we were able to order ahead of time.
I bought the most beautiful earrings and they were shipped in a timely manner.
Nick and his crew were great to work with! They also did our engagement pictures, had a photo guestbook put together for us, and did the videography
Becca was helpful. The church sanctuary is beautiful and full of natural light. We showed a brief video of the proposal prior to the ceremony and it went very well. The lighting can also be changed to the wedding colors.
Love the food and the atmosphere, but we waited over 2 hours for our dinner. It was completely unacceptable since we had preordered everyone's entree a week before and made a reservation. The back of the restaurant also was extremely hot due to the fact that we were adjacent to the kitchen. We had 30 people. I would not recommend Fision 40.83 to anyone with a medium- large group of people.
Joan at European Bridal assisted me in finding my dress. She was absolutely wonderful- not pushy, honest. Loved her and loved the wide variety of dresses- very 'Downton Abbey!'
After looking at David's Bridal, Wendy's Bridal, BHLDN, and online, we took a trip to Macy's. My girls are not the same body type, but we found a beautiful floor length black dress that they all LOVED! The dress was under $100, close to $70 with the extra 20% off coupon.
