I love photo booths & I was very excited when we found a groupon for one! The Photo Booth was set up about an hour before and was ready to go with props once our guests arrived at our reception. Our attendant was amazing! He made sure our guests got their copy, and we got ours. He also made sure that we got photos with everyone we wanted to before our rental time was up and that we took some bride and groom only shots. The booth was comprised of curtains instead of solid walls. It could fit 4 comfortably, but since my family and friends have a history with photo booths, we broke our attendant's record and fit 33 into one picture! It was definitely a hit and a lot of fun!! The photo strips were personalized with our names and wedding date. Two strips were printed each time; one for our guests and one for us. There is no limit on how many photo sessions can be taken, as long as they are taken within your rented timeframe. If you don't have a guestbook already, or just want a second one, you have the option of bringing in a blank scrapbook, glue, and pens, so that one strip can be placed in the book and your guests can share their well wishes next to their pictures. We did not order a CD at the time we rented the booth, but a few days after the wedding, I was able to email and call about getting one. They had two options, a CD that they send with all the images and strips or a Dropbox link. I opted for the Dropbox link, which they send to you through email. You are able to access and download your pictures in strip form and individual form for up to 30 days after they send the link. So, I will now have all those memories to look back on and enjoy! Definitely a must have!

2300 Catering, Inc.

2300 Catering, Inc. was suggested to us by a friend. The menu provided through the website was very easy to understand and had several eye-catching dishes. You can choose from hot and/or cold hors d' oeuvres, cutting board options, displays, and stations. Setting up a tasting was easy and my husband used email as the main contact source. We tasted two of the hors d' oeuvres as well as portions of the two stations we were interested in. Everything was delightful and we were able to add on plated salads to start with and coffee service to end with. We chose bacon wrapped scallops, goat cheese fritters, and ham biscuits for our hors d'oeuvres. For our main dishes, we ordered a wok station and a paella station; each with different meat choices. We were even able to order a vegan meal for one of our guests. We paid a bit more than we expected; however, our contract included set-up and take-down, all the food, tables and attendants for the food stations, a dessert table for our cupcakes and cake (desserts provided by another vender), additional seating tables and chairs, linens for all the tables, two bar tenders, all the flatware and glassware, and the coffee for after dinner. It was a big help that they were able to provide tables, chairs, linens, etc. instead of going to an additional vendor to rent those items. Prices for everything were reasonable and they were flexible to our needs. Tables and stations were set up the day before our wedding and food was set up a few hours prior to the actual reception on the day of. When we got to the reception, everything was laid out perfectly and the food was just as delicious as we remembered it from the tasting. There was enough food for everyone to enjoy at the reception as well as enough left over for guests (and ourselves) to take home and for our photo booth attendant. Our guests were very pleased with the food and we definitely got our money's worth!

Pearl's Cupcake Shoppe

Pearl's was recommended to us by a friend. In the beginning, I was a little worried, but as things progressed towards the wedding, everything went smoothly. We had some trouble communicating with them through the phone and email, so, I would suggest making a trip to the shop if you need to make changes or anything. We ended up choosing the Campfire, Drumstick, Strawberry Shortcake, and some vegan Tiramisu. We got a 6" cutter cake that was Carrot Cake flavored and rented out silver cupcake stands with hanging beads on them for the day of the reception. We paid everything in full, and would get a partial refund for the stands once they were cleaned and returned after the event. Not too long after we had placed our order, my mother-in-law suggested adding a few more flavors since we were able to make any changes up to 2 weeks prior to the event. We ended up adding the Mint Chocolate Chip and the Candy Cup (peanut butter flavored). Normally, they charge $20 for each flavor after 5 in addition to the price of the cupcakes, but they were able to add the two flavors at no additional cost since I didn't order a lot of the Tiramisu cupcake. They gave me the new balance, which my mother-in-law was able to pay at a later date. The day of the reception, the cupcakes were delivered to our venue perfectly and they set up a wonderful display. Our cutter cake was plain and simple, but they can decorate to fit your needs. They also included a certificate for a free 6" anniversary cake one year from the day of your event. Upon returning the stands, we did receive our partial refund. Overall, very delicious cupcakes and a hit at the reception!
