I ordered three bridesmaid dresses on sale from David's and altered them to fit my two bridesmaids and maid of honour. The dresses were inexpensive, but I paid as much in duty and shipping as the dresses cost. If I had to do it again I would purchase something locally, or just sew them.
I bought a plus size second hand dress for $100 CAD and spent another $200 to have it altered. It was a Jessica McClintock dress that retailed originally for over $800. It was a great deal. I donated it to the Cuban wedding system after so other brides can enjoy it. They rent their dresses there.
We purchased all the Guayaberas for the men at this store and they were excellent. My only complaint was that we couldn't obtain custom embroidery on the groom's shirt or short sleeved shirts for the children (boys), but I found a local supplier for the embroidery. They also sell linen pants, but our groomsmen wanted ones with flys not drawstrings, so I sewed them all using a Vogue pattern.
