Darcy and her crew have been fabulous from beginning to end. We also used Darcy to do our engagement album which was taken over a day in Boston at over 8 different locations! She also did my wife's trash the dress session the day after the wedding.
She's been a joy to work with, and has worked to ensure we get the photos we want.
Because of the size of my wedding party (more than 4 guys), I was able to get my tux totally free!
The ordering process was completely painless, and for the most part all of my groomsmen (who came from out of town) were able to get their tuxes without a problem.
We met Troy at the CT Wedding Show and he seemed like the perfect videographer. And once the day came he did a great job staying out of the way while still managing to get some cool shots.
However, before the wedding there was apparently some confusion as to whether we had actually booked them and we almost didn't have a videographer. Then after the wedding, we didn't hear from him for over 10 months. So their follow through isn't the greatest.
Dave (the groom) had written our invitation and it was slightly non-standard, we had talked to other invitation people that refused to help make that vision come true. The guys at Emerald Invitations not only did a great job ensuring our invitations looked exactly like we wanted them too, they made a GORGEOUS custom program that tied together beautifully with our invitations and overall theme. In addition, they had some of the best pricing around!
They were awesome and had tons of people on the dance floor. The only issue was they were so good everyone didn't want the evening/dancing to stop!
Gail had her work cut our for her as Dave (the groom) has no rhythm and Adrienne (the bride) wasn't used to following. However she was an INCREDIBLY patient teacher and worked on choreographing a dance that worked perfectly for us, and a fun swing number for Adrienne and her dad.
We can't wait to go back and take regular dancing lessons from her, that's how much we enjoyed it!
Tony and his staff were wonderful to work with. We had a particular vision for our center pieces and he made them come out better than we could have imagined. He also was able to take that vision then and extend it to the rest of the locations that we needed flowers for.
I also was vary appreciative of the fact that he used the Organic flowers that we provided for him, and that his whole aesthetic is very much a "natural" look.
Nathan worked with us for providing the Groom's ring which was totally custom ring in platinum, as well as all of the attendant gifts. He also was able to do the engraving on the gifts and rings as well as solder Adrienne's engagement & wedding ring together.
The attention we got as customers was phenomenal, and it's nice being able to support a small-town family run business like Nathan's.
They were one of the only places we could find the chocolates we wanted as favors (claddauh design) and they were able to do a rush job to get us what we wanted in time for the wedding. Plus the chocolates not only looked, but tasted AMAZING!
The shuttle driver was the WORST. When he first showed up, he argued with the groom about what exactly he had been hired to do (make multiple trips). Then he took so long getting people to the ceremony that the grandmother's almost missed the wedding. Lastly, apparently the Father of the Bride had to go out and argue with him at the end of the night because he was just going to leave and strand people at the castle.
