Sapphire's enthusiasm and energy provided an evening of unbelievable entertainment for our wedding. Our guests enjoyed their 70's-80's rock theme that kept their feet moving and their lips smacking as they sang along. My husband even brought his own guitar and we had the opportunity to perform a couple songs with them. It was an unforgettable evening and terrific time due to this stellar entertainment! We had an outdoor wedding and were responsible for providing our own alcohol. We had a bartender that served our signature drink, a September Sunrise, as well as water and soda. In addition, we rented a Beer Wagon from Beer Mountain Distributors. We offered three different kinds of beer, Yuengling Lager, Yuengling Oktoberfest, and Bud Light. In addition, we were able to get Birch Beer which was a hit! We offered a whiskey or whipped vodka shooter to be added to the birch beer. Beer Mountain was easy to work with and allowed for return of untapped barrels. We ordered extra instead of worrying about running out, and were quickly reimbursed for what we did not use. We were also able to use the beer wagon to keep other items cold, including the wine and some of the caterer's food.
Once the wedding is said and done, the one thing people always talk about is the food. I'm positive that the guests from our wedding will be raving about our menu for years to come. Carmelo Valenti, the owner of Carmelo's Roman Delight in Orwigsburg was exceptional. Carmelo was irreplaceable from the beginning stages of choosing a caterer, to the tasting of the menu and venue set-up. He made our wedding planning fun because of his great personality and excellent work ethic. We had an Italian Feast Buffet including: Italian Salad, Chicken Florentine, Baked Haddock, Risotto Balls, Rosa Alfredo Pasta and Shrimp Scampi. The presentation was beautiful, the taste scrumptious and the service by Carmelo and his staff exceptional. He provided this off site catering but also hosts many parties and showers at his restaurant in Orwigsburg. His restaurant was recently remodeled which includes an awesome bar and impressive outdoor patio with frequent local entertainment. Thanks Carm and the staff of RD!
Our wedding venue took place at Kemfort's Cottage which is also owned by Bella Floral and Design in Schuylkill Haven. Earl of Bella Floral was easy to work with and had an amazing eye for detail. He sat patiently with me and my husband to select flowers to match our rustic theme. He matched a beautiful assortment of unique flowers to coordinate my bridesmaid's rosewood colored dresses. On our wedding day when I received my bridal bouquet and other flowers and I was brought to tears. The unique arrangements at the venue also assisted with achieving my rustic theme with beautiful accents. The arrangements were placed in burlap vases that accommodated the venue. The men's boutonnieres were also unique and included small silver bee charms to compliment our September bee and honey theme. I'm overwhelmed with the beauty our florist was able to bring to our venue. Thanks Earl & Dave!

We were fortunate enough to book Darlene Markowski to capture our wedding day. Friends of ours used Darlene for their wedding and after meeting her and seeing their video, we were lucky to book her. We can't wait to see our video!
