DJ Phil is a perfect mix of professional and fun. After our first meeting we knew he would be perfect for our wedding. He even gave us ideas that we hadn't even thought of. I left knowing that our night would be perfect with him in the directors chair!

There was never a time during the night that people weren't on the dance floor. What I really loved about him is, he made sure to keep pulling the bride and groom back to the dance floor without feeling forced. Its easy to get side tracked with so much going on, so having someone to help get you back to what your reception is about (having fun) is really awesome. He makes sure the night flows smoothly and he is a master at what he does!
We would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who wants a true professional, and a flawless & fun night!
From the very moment we met Val we knew she was exactly who we were looking for! She is very accommodating and easy to work with. We felt like we had known her for years!
She has a great way of balancing professionalism and making the day fun. She completely understood what we wanted and her eye for detail is incredible! During the day she stops to show you photos so you have an idea of what you look like and what you need to adjust to make your photos turn out perfect. She made us feel comfortable and really brings out who we are as a couple, without it feeling forced.
I was very concerned about how long our formal photos would take due to having a very limited amount of time to get to the reception. She had all of our photos done, including driving to another location, with time to spare!!!!! She is very good at directing everyone where they need to stand and how to pose.
Her photos are unique and the quality is that out of a magazine. What I love most about her was her ability to capture how beautiful our day was, so we can relive every moment!
We HIGHLY recommend her and will definitely be working with her for any future photos. You will not regret having her as your photographer because hands down, she is the BEST!!! Love Love Love her!
I really don't know where to begin with how spectacular Puff N Stuff is! From the very beginning Lucille worked with us through every detail. She is by far the best planner I could have ever asked for. I never had to worry (and Im an overyly detailed & possibly hard to please person) that things werent going to be flawless the day of, and they were. She is responsive, professional, and such a joy to work with. She always made us feel so comfortable and at ease. I just LOVE HER!
The tastings were one on one with our planner (not a once a month with 10 other couples). We were able to try most of our menu at our tasting, but not all of it. At the wedding I was curious to see how my other selections would turn out and they were beyond delicious. They cater to any budget and will work with you to make sure you stay within that budget, while not compromising quality and taste! We are foodies, and the food was a very important part of the wedding. Puff knocked it out of the park with the pasta & crepe stations and the dessert bar! We are still getting compliments on not only the quality of the food, but the professional, courteous, and friendly staff.
Another bonus (and this is not something you really appreciate until you have it) was they packed to go food for the bride & groom, so we were able to eat once we got back to our room at the end of the night. We were both starving, so getting the opportunity to really indulge in our food was FANTASTIC!
I can't say enough about what an amazing job everyone did at Puff! They truly know how to throw a flawless party! I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who wants: quality, taste, professionalism, and to feel like you are royalty for the night. They will exceed all of your expectations!
I knew at our first meeting that Gisselle was the perfect person for our wedding! She immediately understood our vision after showing her just a few pictures of our ideas. She truly loves what she does and it is reflected in the quality and beauty of her work. Our flowers & centerpieces were absolutely STUNNING! Her attention to details went far above my expectations! She went above and beyond by adding candles, flowers, and petals to areas of the reception that I didn't even consider to ensure the beauty flowed throughout the room. Ex. bar, cake & dessert table, and sign in table. Gisselle is very prompt at responding and stays within your budget without compromising in quality. She was always available to bounce different ideas I had off of and really makes you feel like you are family. She also directed us towards other vendors to find the best rates for chairs, candles, and linens. I did a ton of research and her recommendations far beat out everything I found online! And again, all great quality and service.
I would HIGHLY recommend her if you are looking for someone who exudes quality, professionalism, and a true passion for completing your wedding day vision!
There really is no one else you should hire for your wedding day hair and makeup! Cari and Holly made my girls and I look like we were stepping out of a magazine! I even had a bridesmaid who had gotten married the week prior upset that Cari wasn't the one who did her hair & makeup for her wedding! At our trial run I had just a few pictures of ideas for hair and makeup, and she took what I had and went FAR above my expectations! I've had my hair and makeup done MANY times, and I am always disappointed in the ending result. I felt like a supermodel and had SOOO many complements on how beautiful I looked without looking over done. She knows exactly how to enhance all of your features for a flawless look. It was so relaxing and special to get ready in the room with all of my girls. Not having to leave to go to a salon really made the day less stressful. She is VERY reasonably priced (especially since she comes to you) and worth every penny! I will definitely use her anytime I am going to go to a big event and want to look fabulous!
What a beautiful and eclectic venue! We only had our reception here. This place is definitely for a couple that does not want the "ballroom at a hotel" or "country club" type venue. Don't let the outside fool you, this place is a diamond in the rough. The staff are professional and on top of it! Along with the staff, the owner also goes WELL out of his way during the planning process and the day of to ensure everyone, especially the bride and groom, are happy and well taken care of. Our glasses were never empty! Another major plus is that the DJ booth is up on the 2nd floor overlooking the dance floor and main room. It definitely helps (especially when you have an awesome DJ) when he can see the mood and what everyone is doing to keep the party moving all night! We have been getting rave reviews about what a unique venue it is and about the entire experience!
The only gripe would be that this venue is a bit pricey; however, for the most part you get what you pay for.
We are SOOOO happy we chose the Nova for our reception venue! It surpassed all of our wildest wedding dreams!!!

Having the horse and carriage for our exit was perfect! We enjoyed spending the hour ride around downtown St Pete reminiscing about our day and taking it all in as husband and wife! We really felt like royalty with all the passersby waving and giving us their well wishes. It really was the perfect ending to a perfect wedding day! Thank you Leland!!
