We had to rent bathrooms for our wedding and the most local option was houdeks. Towards the end of the night the bathrooms got really nasty, but a lot of that has to do with being outside in the summer with lots of bugs around. They did the job - in retrospect I would have rented a larger womens bathroom for 130 guests.
It's out of the way, but Becker's has a huge selection at very affordable prices. I was very happy with my wedding gown and received many compliments of course.
Once they actually started playing, they were great. Everyone had a wonderful time dancing. My three stars are due to a couple of set backs. We chose first dance songs that the band knew how to play live, but when it came time to dancing they just popped in a cd. I also felt that they spent way too long "not playing". There was a great deal of time that cds were playing music, like during cocktail hour and for a large part of dinner. I didn't like thinking to myself "where's the band?"
Kelly's did a great job guiding us in the best foods to make for our venue. Kelly's had done many events at the ranch, so they really had great suggestions. The food was delicious - everyone raved about it. My only issue had to do with the bars. We had planned for wait staff to be walking around with prepoured glasses of wine, etc., but instead there was one bar with one bar tender and all 130 guests had to wait in line. I HATED seeing that line! I heard that one of my guests had to just go get himself a drink at the reception bar and ended up being a bartender for other people that were with him. Not a good thing.
Nancy did such a fantastic job and I was so pleased with her work. She is a true artist and both the wedding cake and grooms cake were so impressive and delicious. We had a great tasting appointment with Nancy at her kitchen and she really took the time leading up to the wedding to make sure the design of the cakes was perfect. I would recommend her every single time!
Blair did such a great job coordinating our wedding. She thought of everything that we didn't (which was a lot), and really made us feel like everything would work out great. She had timelines, she had contacted all of the vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page, and we had several phone calls and meetings leading up to the wedding. For someone who totally freaked out when it came to anything wedding, Blair was a life saver.
By the Bay was very easy to work with and right on time. We had absolutely no trouble with them.
We have yet to see the photos, but I know they will be awesome. Coreene is so great at her craft and it really helped that she was so familiar with the area. She had great ideas for where to take pictures and was good at directing everyone. She even kept track of the time of day and would grab us at certain times to get some photos in the best light.
Dave is very meticulous about his tents and it is for the benefit of the wedding. Even my florist commented that the tents were the cleanest he had ever seen in 60 years. Dave never lets his tents touch the ground, so you really get a crisp, clean look. Plus there is less to cover up with decorations. Everything was set up great and right on time, no complaints.
