As a recent bride I felt compelled to write a review about this wedding planner. After months of what I felt was a lack of effort, I was shocked to have this wedding planner cancel on me just two weeks before my wedding day. As all of you brides know, this was a worse case scenario and it left me heartbroken. I was really left in a horrible situation by this company, especially when I learn that she had gone ahead and cancelled all of my chosen and paid for vendors as well. I view this company’s action as unethical and wholeheartedly can NOT recommend and would advise brides to avoid them. To this date, I have not received back the deposits this company took from me.

Luis Otoya and his team are just so professional and efficient. I don’t have enough words to thank them for their great job. They organized our wedding in only two weeks after we had a horrifying experience with another wedding planner.
From the moment I spoke to Luis for the first time he made me feel that everything was going to be ok, and indeed it was (it was just fabulous)!!! Luis and his team took ownership of our wedding in a matter of days regardless of the short time we had to rearrange everything. They were extremely helpful and patient with all our requests and made sure that each one of them was achieved on our wedding day.
The decoration was so tasteful, the food delicious and the staff was extremely hospitable… They accompanied few of our elder guests back to their hotels after the reception, called taxis for others and were always alert of any need that our guests had. Luis also speaks fluent english so it made it easy for my now husband to communicate.
Evento y Cocina planned, organized and delivered an outstanding wedding, which was for us fun, romantic, elegant and beautiful. We dreamt about this day for so long and “Evento y Cocina” made it happen. It will always be a day that we will remember with great joy.
