They were amazing. My husband has always loved this band so when we were deciding on entertainment for our reception, The Soul Preachers were the only choice! They kept the party going all night. They played everything that all ages enjoy. They MC'd our entire night and helped everything go perfectly smooth. They are just awesome and we would recommend them to anyone!
Lou Ann at Artful Parties and Events is absolutely amazing. She completely outdid herself with the vision I had. From my bouquet to the boutonnières, from the table arrangements to the chandelier decorations. It was so perfect all while staying in my budget. She really cares about YOU and wants your day to be stress free. She is simply wonderful!
I was able to meet B (Brandi Mussack, photographer) through my cousin a few years ago. All I know is that the moment I met her I instantly loved her. She was beautiful, caring, hilarious... pretty much everything you would ever want in a friend. I was able to follow her through Facebook and admire her work. The moment Jim and I were engaged, and I literally mean the moment after he asked me and we started thinking about plans the first thing that we said was, "We want B as our photographer." Besides saying, "yes!" to my now husband... choosing B as the person to document the most special day we will ever have was the best wedding decision I made.
Any time future brides ask me for advice I tell them this: "You only take a few things with you from your wedding. Make sure you marry a good man and make sure you hire an amazing photographer." It honestly kills me to hear that brides are unhappy with their pictures. I feel so blessed to have the most beautiful images from our wedding that we will be able to look at and have for a lifetime and more. B became part of our family that week. In fact, my little sister who is 7 years old, cried when she left. She cares so much about what she does, every little detail. As a bride, the day can slip away so fast. B was there to remind me to look around, soak in everything around me, "Just B" in the moment with my new husband. Our pictures are incredible... so incredible that people stop me in the grocery store or at meetings to tell me how amazing our pictures are. B is pretty much a celebrity in our town (and beyond).
I could go on and on about all the reasons I love B but I will end with this: Jim and I would have had a special day no matter what... but because of B our day was beyond any of our wildest and most desired dreams. Jim and I want to thank B from the bottom of our hearts for her talents and care.
Jodi at Mister Penguin in Salina, KS was BEYOND helpful. From the first moment we stepped into the store she was all about us. She made this process SO easy. Even when the husband to be waited until the MORNING before our wedding to try on his tux (which of course didn't fit) Jodi was ready at the store for a quick swap for the perfect jacket with NO hassle. She was easy to talk to and was always eager to help. She is absolutely wonderful and the men looked beyond handsome!
I am still unsure how I was able to get in contact with Matt at Baysinger Films, but I am pretty sure it was a God-thing. I was going back and forth on whether or not we should have a videographer for our wedding. After a couple of failed phone calls and growing hesitation I emailed the last one on my list, Baysinger Films. Within minutes, and I seriously mean like 3 minutes I already had a response! Matt was so personable through his email and we got in contact soon after. He was beyond excited and passionate about what he does. He made me feel so comfortable and pressure-free. I knew that we had to book him after I saw some of his videos on his website. I told Matt about the vision we had and he promised he would get us exactly what we wanted. That was the biggest understatement. We were able to see our highlight video a couple weeks after our wedding and EVERYONE loved it. It was beyond perfect- something out of a movie. I am still in awe and catch myself with the silliest grin every time I watch it. He has given us the most special treasure that we will be able to share for a life time and more. The video itself would be enough to give him the highest rating… but Matt was much more than the video. He was so caring throughout this whole process. He really made us feel important. He is an amazing person aside from his work which makes me want to get on a mountain top and shout to everyone how great this experience was. Thank you, Matt!!!
Denise at Sara Loree's was phenomenal. I ended up buying the first dress I tried on. My entire bridal party, from my mother to the bridesmaids to the flower girls- everything came from Loree’s! I wanted our look to be classic but unique. They were able to complete the look I was going for even more perfect than I envisioned. I was in contact with Denise constantly and she was beyond helpful. I would not have trusted anyone else with this experience.
