Dan was our DJ, and he did a fantastic job. It has been 6 weeks since our wedding, and we are still receiving compliments about our DJ. He made things so wonderful, and was very easy to work with! I would recommend Okyne, and Dan from Okyne to anyone and everyone!
Sweet Mandy B's doesn't deliver, however we worked with Chicago Messenger Service to deliver our desserts because I was determined to have Sweet Mandy B's desserts!! I've been coming to this bakery for 8 years now, and they make the best cakes in the city!! I'm giving them 3 stars because when my delivery person showed up to pick up the desserts, the employees at Sweet Mandy B's didn't give the delivery person our full order. As a result, my Mom, Dad, and our Catering Manager were on the phone with Sweet Mandy B's all night to get the remainder of the desserts delivered. The owner ended up getting in his car and driving the rest of our desserts to our venue. Great Desserts, but make sure their staff gives your entire order to the delivery guy!
I CANNOT say enough GREAT things about Tigerlily Events, especially Christine Picerno. Christine was our Catering Manager, and she was an absolute joy to work with. She was so responsive, and helpful in every way. I will also say their food was DELICIOUS!! We are still receiving compliments about how amazing the food was from our guests. All of our guests mentioned how they had never had such amazing food at a wedding! I will definitely work with Tigerlily Events for any future events that I have!
Ashland Addison Florist does truly AMAZING work. We worked with Meghan Riley and her eye for floral arrangements is uncanning. She did such an amazing job from our bouquets, to our centerpieces and everything in between. I would recommend Ashland Addison, and Meghan to anyone planning their wedding!
Chicago Trolley and Double Decker Company was wonderful to work with, and our driver was great! He was so friendly, and we always felt safe in the Trolley! He was also very willing to drive wherever we wanted him to go which was nice for driving around the city for pictures.
I cannot say enough great things about Lauren at DWJohnson. She was so amazing to work with and such a doll! She is also an amazing photographer. Our second shooter that accompanied Lauren on the day of our wedding was just as incredible! Her name was Leah, and I'm so glad they were a part of our day! All of my friends always said Photography was where you should put your money, and I'm so glad I listened to their advice! I'm so happy with our pictures!
Black Tie Formalwear was great to work with. Made everything so easy, and their stylists actually have style which is more helpful than you know!! We met with our stylist, and loved everything that he put together for the men to wear! Upon pick up, everything fit perfectly, and we had no issues with any of the Tuxedos! Great place to go for the men! They are also VERY affordable!
Robert was absolutely AMAZING the day of our wedding! My sorority sister had recommended him, and said he was a Ninja on the day of the wedding and that they never saw him, but heoduced the most amazing video of their special day. Well, my sorority sister was right! We never saw him, but he has an eye for this and is an WONDERFUL videographer! I would recommend him to everyone! Also, he is very affordable!
