We dealt with Kirtley, who was professional, prompt and super easy. The trolley was so easy and a really fun way to get us and our families to the wedding site. Limo's just aren't our thing, and the big red trolley was so indiciative of the style and vibe of the wedding day we wanted. The driver was prompt and curteous. Just make sure you remember to have pictures taken on the trolley! We forgot to and regret it to this day!
All in all, Ingrid and Blue Rocks were easy to deal with and all the food was wonderful - from the cocktail hour to the sit down meal. Many guests commented that it was not just the best 'wedding food' they'd had, but excellent food all in all.
The issues we had with Blue Rocks: they were a little sloppy in the set up of the event, including putting the tent way too close to the ceremony site - which meant i had to literally 'duck' under the tent ropes to get to the ceremony aisle. Also - they were a little lax in setting up some items around the venue.
The biggest problem was lack of communication- We waited too long to tell Ingrid that we dediced we DID want paper lanterns, and by then she was unable to get them for us. As our caterer, she should have been on top of letting us know we had a deadline and following through with us.
We chose Lisa because she's one of the few photographers who still use film, and that was important to us. She did exactly what we asked of her and even our guests remarked on how wonderful she and her assistant were. They were unobtrusive and did a great job with taking all of our 'planned' family photos before the ceremony, and then all of the candid photos the rest of the night. We were able to hire her for a shorter time period than usual, and still came away with over 600 gorgeous pictures that get rave reviews from not only us but everyone who sees them!
Moondance was easy to deal with and Pauline was a fantastic DJ!
