The Vistas surprised me by learning our first dance song! I was completely fine with just using an iPod, but when it came time for our dance, they started playing - and it. was. perfect.
The rest of the songs? Just as amazing!! The have an incredible array of music and are very easy to work with. I am SO glad my planner suggested them. Definitely a highlight of the big day!
Delicious and beautiful! What else could you want for a wedding cake?! The owners of this small bakery are a husband and wife team, and if you visit the shop you feel like you are in your grandma's house the way the warmth from the oven and the most sincere and friendly owners greet you. Their menu goes far beyond cakes, too. They run an impressive little establishment and I'm so happy we got to work with them!
They could not have done anything else to achieve perfection. #1, the food is amazing - they are a relatively new and small local restaurant and already they have become somewhat of a legend in a town of foodies and celebrity chefs. #2, they could not have been easier to work with, or more accommodating. They don't have a "pick Tier 1 or Tier 2" type of catering menu - nope! They actually do what you want (ummm... definition of "catering"!!) and even prepared a special meal of no salt/sodium for my ailing grandmother who is on a very strict diet, and being that she is averse to anyone knowing she might need "help", they made sure to prepare her a meal of the same thing everyone else was having, just without salt, so nobody could see a difference. I am just blown away by the hospitality of this company!

Ooh! and Polished! are sister stores that do decor rentals and dinnerware (respectively). The quality, quantity,variety and prices cannot be beat, and everyone on staff was just a dream to work with! They happily made whatever changes happened on my whim even up to the day-of, and performed beautifully. :)
(In a turn of events, one of the staff members at Ooh! left and joined my wedding planner to get more involved in the planning aspect. She and I got along so well that she became the wedding coordinator!)
Gary did our engagement session as well as the wedding, and we think of him as a friend! But, for all his brides, he offers a one-of-a-kind guarantee: he will be with you ALL. DAY. AND. NIGHT. Sure, some photographers will do that - for a price - otherwise they'll pack up and go whenever their shift is over. But Gary enjoys the art and enjoys being part of the festivities so much that he doesn't want money or time to get in the way of capturing all the special moments. He'll drive around all day getting bridal party preparations, then groom's preparations, and then be with you until you depart. He's an absolutely fantastic person, in addition to his incredible talent for photography!
Katie is so much fun to work with, and always so upbeat and helpful! I could NOT have found the amazing vendors I did without her expertise and knowledge! I adore her!
Rebecca became the day-of coordinator, but she and I were in constant contact for more than a week beforehand! She would come to my office to deliver or pick up something, or meet whenever I was free - I had her on speed dial, and she ROCKED getting our day perfect!! Organized beyond belief and as OCD as I am, we got along great, and I could not be happier she was there for our special day!
