This will seem odd because Philip Hartley is based in Dorset, but we met him at a wedding near Poole while he worked on a friend's photos and we were sufficiently impressed we wanted to get him up to York. Philip has a contemporary style and this fitted well with what we wanted. He spent all day working incredibly hard and he was dedicated to getting the right shots for us.
We first heard about Soul Patrol when a friend recommended them to us after they saw them as Casa bar in Beverley. We went along to see them and knew we had to have them! Our venue was a big space so we needed a big sound. They're very laid back, but they deliver.
A beautiful range of invitation designs, we went for the Art Nouveau design like a ticket. Andrew is very amiable and offers a quality service.
This is a lovely resort, very self-contained with water sports and a tiki bar at poolside that serves food. They also do bike hire which is a good thing because the resort is a good 20-30 minute walk from the key attractions in Key West. This didn't really bother us because it was nice to pedal around, but if you're looking for a resort on the doorstep of the bars and restaurants this isn't it. However, there is ample parking which suited us having driven down from Miami (you won't get as good parking in the centre of Key West). The rooms and apartments are simply but colourfully decorated and our 2 person room had a decent sized fridge for snacks and booze (there is a Walgreens next door to stock up). They have 4 pools which have plenty of sunbeds and sunny spots for the sunbathers and shady spots too. Really friendly and helpful Reception staff who will give advice and make enquiries for you, and tons of money-off vouchers from the front desk.
Easy and excellent value for money and they sent us extras which we weren't expecting. We uploaded our own rail ticket design to a fridge magnet format.
