Amazing. Jennifer Frost and her team catered our night-before picnic at the Seaward Inn, and it was fantastic. Everything sustainably, locally sourced, delicious, and impeccably served by her warm, lovely staff. Jennifer also designed our wedding flowers from a local florist, and her design eye was perfect.
Jocelyn Wise was our wedding caterer -- again, an other instance of our guests being extremely, genuinely happy and excited by the food they were eating. Jocelyn is half armenian and her food reflects that -- fig and blood orange jam, tomato tebouleh, everything perfect and fresh. It's not traditional wedding food by any stretch of the imagination but inventive and delicious. Jocelyn is also a joy to work with, helping me pick silverware and plates and advising me about liquor -- we didn't have a wedding planner and she helped everything stay on schedule on the day. She is warm and boisterous and wonderful to be around. I couldn't recommend her highly enough.
We ordered three different kinds of fresh fruit pies for 200 people and it was still less expensive and more tasty than a wedding cake. Plus our guests loved it.
Baby Soda were incredible. Our guests didn't want them to stop playing and Jesse and I are still fielding comments to the tune of "Best wedding music I have ever heard" etc. Completely un-clichéd, old fashioned "street" jazz, no top 40. The only "expected" thing they played was a rousing hora, at our request. Peter the band leader worked with us on our processional and they were all a joy to work with. *highly* recommend.
