I was getting married in Lincoln but live in Kansas City so I knew I wanted to look for a dress down here. Each visit to Gown Gallery was fantastic. The girls that work there are all very nice, you are offered mimosas, juice, water and cookies when you sit down for your appointment. I worked with Eboni when I was looking for my gown and she was fantastic. I was prepared with photos of dresses I liked and she took that into consideration. On the first visit there, I found a gown that I really liked, but when my mom and I went back again to see if there was another I might like more, Eboni remembered a gown that was on their sample sale rack that she thought would be perfect, and it was! Eboni was positive and willing to work with me until we found the absolute perfect dress. The alterations process was similarly wonderful. They were always very helpful. I wish I had another reason to go back and find a fancy gown because I would definitely return here!
We worked with Mickenzie and Gary of YBG to create our invitations and ended up loving them so much we went back to them for our guest book print and ceremony programs. They were fantastic to work with and were willing to make any changes we asked for. When the company we were coordinating with to print the invites backed out at the very last minute, YBG was very accommodating in updating our order to reflect printing and then hand delivering them to my now-husband's work (because they're also in the KC area). Our invites turned out perfectly and Mickenzie and Gary had actually put them all together for us (like gluing the ribbon band), which we very much appreciated because we were so far behind after the printer debacle.
Our reception hall also did the catering for our reception and the food was wonderful. They didn't do a typical tasting, so we weren't sure how it would turn out but in the end the food was great.
