If you are as stunned as I was when I got florist estimates, then one way to reduce your costs is to use Costco for the personal flowers. I was able to get the bridal bouquet (with ribbon around the stems and pearls in the flowers), two matching bridesmaids bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages for a total of about $300. Costco has bigger packages too and packages for decorating the room, but my Reception Hall required certain vendor so I comment on their room decor packages. The quality of the flowers is great (extremely fresh, nothing was wilted, not even a little bit) and they ship them to you in a well-protected box 2 days before the wedding so they finish blooming with you. I only gave them 4-stars because you can't customize/combine the flower selections. Other than that, it is a great way to get your flowers.
I used the Pros for my wedding DJ and Videography. The DJ (DJ Vance) was great, he used my playlist but would play whatever kept the guests dancing. He even got the groom dancing (which was a miracle). The value was also very good. There wasn't any fancy pyrotechnics or lighting so I can't comment on whether they could give you a club vibe visually, but the music was played as well as any nightclub.
