After being treated rather rudely at a few shops, I found the dress I had been looking for with Denise at Cynderellies closet. Although it is in Edmonds (a bit of a drive from my downtown Seattle home) it was worth every mile, every penny, and every effort to go there. My dress came in on time and my fittings were a breeze. The price was right and Denise was so nice and helpful. I'd recommend this place for Mother of the Bride dresses as well. My mom loved dress that she purchased here.
Grant was amazing! We had him all day for a great price and he really did a fine job with all of our family. His website says it all. Great pictures, great price, and most of all--A GREAT GUY. We laughed all night with him, that is when we even noticed he was there. The great thing about Grant is that he caught every image we wanted but for the most part was unseen. I would recommend Grant to everyone. We received our photos on 5 DVDs within 10 days. Great turn around!
Mmm Paper was our choice for invitations. We started out with a nation wide invitation company and just couldn't get the exact look that we wanted. Michelle at Mmm Paper was amazing! I met with her twice and we went through 2 (or was it 3?) layouts before the invite was perfect, unique, reasonable, and just what we wanted. Support this local company! These women do all the work here in Seattle and make time to help you with the wording if you have two families that have multiple naming issues. I really enjoyed working with them.
Raul at Metropolitan Market caught my eye at the wedding show. His work with lilies was so beautiful--I had to have him. I took bids from 2 other companies and his came in lowest but most creative. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that I had to watch the contract to make sure everything was in there. I was never over charged. The contract simply missed items that I wanted. It all got worked out and the flowers were beautiful.
Mmm!! We met Kelli to taste some samples and my fiance fell in love. We had been to 2 other places and this one did it for him. I too was impressed with the cakes--moist, flavorful, and the frosting had just the perfect amount of sweetness.
