We were expecting little to no dancing with our smallish reception (less than 50 people) and initially considered the diy iPod reception. We are so glad we changed our minds, because Dave and Deb (a husband-wife team) were by far the best investment we made in our wedding and truly made it memorable. Dave provided live acoustic guitar music for both our ceremony and cocktail hour/reception (2 different venues), while Deb served as DJ/MC. Dance lighting was included in the price as well. Dave is an extremely talented musician and Deb flawlessly played our eclectic mix of songs (American, Turkish, Persian, Spanish, modern and oldies) and kept almost the whole room dancing most of the night. They are both extremely sweet, professional and a pleasure to have worked with. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
We had around 50 guests at our wedding and held the reception at Silvercreek restaurant's greenhouse dining room. It perfectly fit the ~50 guests who attended, with a space for dancing. The ambiance in the room was lovely even without any decorating on our end-- it looked especially pretty once the sun went down and the string lights they had along the ceiling were turned on. The food was great (and portions were very generous) and very reasonably priced compared to other vendors we checked out in the area. And Amy (the event coordinator) was great to work with!
