Instead of a rehearsal dinner, we had a party for all guests that were in town the night before the wedding. They can make just about anything you want, they even made a cake for my brother's 40th bday, which was DELICIOUS. Food was excellent, and we even went back for brunch the day after the wedding. Don't understand why it wasn't more crowded, because everything we had was excellent! They are very accomodating! Also, getting people together the night before lets people mingle before the wedding, and is a lot more fun. We just covered app's and the cake, and it was very do-able even with a tight budget.
This is SUCH a cute chapel, and next door is a really cute motel/inn. I know when most people think Best Western it doesn't conjure up luxurious thoughts, but the accommodations were really cute, the daily breakfast is very nice, and it is a great place to have all your guest stay together. Gen is amazing to work with and really guided us through all of the ceremony. You don't need a wedding planner if you have her. She walked us through the whole thing.
