This is a family-owned business that I was referred to from a very good friend. I was so happy with the service and you work directly with the owner who is energetic, friendly, and very resourceful! We loved the flowers for our wedding and Julie delivered them to the church personally.
Ed is such a nice guy! He has a great personality and really lets the couple shine! He's not the kind of DJ to steal the show, and he is open to any ideas, requests, suggestions, and will help set the mood for your the evening. If you want a gimicky-DJ then Ed is not your man - he's very warm and professional, and our guests had a great time dancing the night away!!
We LOVED the Back Home Bakery! This is another family owned business and they really make sure your cake will look perfect in every way. They have oodles of flavors and will let you sample eveything under the sun. Scott & I were so happy with our cake, the staff really took the time to capture our vision (and tastebuds). We ordered a two-tier cake for the wedding party and then individual table cakes for the rest of the reception - lovely centerpieces that the guests raved about! We had eight different flavors and the guests loved mingling to try the other tables' cakes. We just had our first anniversary and the top of the cake preserved wonderfully, it tasted just like it did on our wedding day! I'll be using them for future celebrations!
Okay so it's just a store, but they had a great selection of rice paper shades that helped set the tone for our reception. We hung various sizes from the ceiling and attached satin ribbon that matched the wedding colors. It added an elegant touch and was a low-cost enhancement to our great reception facility.
Loved it!! Travis Pointe was really the warm, inviting place we were looking for in a reception hall. No stuffy reception hall here, Travis Pointe is a private club with a refined yet inviting atmosphere and a seperate area for a cocktail hour prior to the dinner reception. The manager Tim really took the time to get to know us, and was fully available for all our questions. He even arranged our signature bar drinks with a simple phone call the day before our wedding. We loved Tim and his professionalism (he's the man), the staff is friendly, efficient, and their food is like eating a piece of heaven! They also allow photos on some of the greens near the building, and there is a lovely pond perfect for outdoor wedding photos. We can't say enough about Tim and the staff at Travis Pointe, we were so happy we chose them for our special day!!
