When my Mom and Dad got married someone captured it on Super 8 and it's my favorite, so when thinking of a wedding film for our special day I searched for Super 8 videographers and found Life Stage in Wilmington! We created a custom package with Life Stage for a Super 8 wedding film with HD highlights. On the wedding day, we hardly even noticed Matt's team but upon seeing our highlights video we were thrilled to see how much of our day was captured! Later when we got the full video, we were overwhelmed by how wonderfully they captured our day! This was so worth the extra money from our budget and I recommend Life Stage to any bride and groom who wanted to capture memories that will last a lifetime!
We basically moved into Head to Toe during the wedding week, with hair trials, nails, makeup, wedding hair, post wedding photo shoots, etc. Head to Toe did everything for us! While there were a few scheduling issues throughout our wedding week & wedding the staff at Head to Toe were able to sort everything out in the end and make the wedding day run so smoothly! Ricky did an amazing job on my hair, it was a labor of love! All my girls got fantastic hair dos and everyone's nails looked fantastic! My pedicure ended up lasting throughout my entire honeymoon which was in the Sand & Sun of Bora Bora!
We can't say enough about the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort! Our wedding organizer Noni, was absolutely amazing! She helped make everything exactly like we wanted, to perfection! The venue was beautiful, the Ballroom was perfect and the price packages were great value for money. The hotel made us really feel like VIPS and made the stay for all of our guests who were arriving from Australia, United Kingdom, Canada, etc. feel very at home! The food for the wedding dinner as well was excellent, we did a trial with the Chef pre-wedding and were so happy with the final result! On the day, the hotel ran everything perfectly and for the rest of the wedding week made our time in Wrightsville Beach so special!
We found Nicki's Cakes online and when we were home visiting before the wedding we had a fantastic cake tasting before officially booking Nicki. Her cakes are the absolute best, they taste amazing and look so beautiful! She did a fantastic job and we enjoyed the left over cake for the rest of the week after the wedding!
What a treat it was to work with these ladies! We had so much fun from our early consultation meetings until the day of the wedding! They were there to help with everything, even pinning flowers on the groomsmen! The flowers were lovely and they helped cater to every last detail we wanted!
We were so lucky to find Chris on the net, I then met him for a introduction meeting quite early on in our planning process and we got him booked as soon as we could! Not only did he have great packages but he seemed to have a really natural feeling about him as well, I think it's important to find someone you click with for your wedding! Before the wedding I was able to introduce him to my fiance as well and we finalized our ideas and discussed our specific shot lists for the day. On the day of the wedding, we could not have been happier with how professional Chris and his assistant were, they were there every step of the way but never in the way. Looking back on the photo story they captured for us is so special! Following the wedding we did a special Bride & Groom session and I have to recommend this to everyone as it allowed us to relax on our wedding day and then gave us the time to take our time being photographed together! I totally preferred doing this to a Bridal Portrait session because I wanted to have some amazing photos that were not taken in a rush with my new hubby! Through the whole process, Chris has been amazing!
We had a hard time finding a DJ for our wedding, especially since we were living in Australia while planning our Wilmington wedding! We were so pleased when we found DJ Professionals and they suggested Adam to us as the DJ for our wedding! He was an absolute pleasure to work with, he met us twice to discuss our event and to nail down exactly what songs we wanted played and when. As we were planning to incorporate a number of Scottish dances into our evening as my fiance's family and friends were all over from Scotland for the wedding, this all worked perfectly. We also had quite a few friends play live music and Adam did a great job of setting up all the equipment and managing the sound engineering for this to go down a treat! We totally recommend Adam, he was great!
