We got our wedding cake here and it was the best wedding cake we've ever tasted :) My fiance and I never really look forward to eating cake at weddings, so we wanted to get something that we would be excited about and enjoy on our big day. Most wedding cakes are too bland or too sweet/sugary or too dry, but the cake from B&O was perfect! We got the white chocolate cake, which was still moist by the end of the night (and for days after the wedding!) and had just the right amount of sweetness. The service was great and the price was surprisingly reasonable as well. You can't go wrong with cake from B&O!
Nichole does amazing work! I was SO blown away by what she produced for our June 2011 wedding. I highly recommend Florarama and would definitely not hesitate to use them again if the occasion arises!
Bouquets/boutonnieres:
I didn't really know what kind of flowers I wanted to use and I couldn't pinpoint one specific design that I liked. I could only communicate to her that I wanted simple elegance and vibrant color in our floral arrangements. She really listened and understood the essence of my vision and completely exceeded my expectations.
Ceremony and reception decor:
Nichole helped us come up with designs for our ceremony and reception decor that were classy yet in our price range.
Service:
Nichole is really great to work with. She's friendly, flexible and seems to really care about her clients. She has a crew that delivers/sets up/cleans up the flowers, which is a huge stress reliever and a great perk that not all florists offer. She even helped some of the groomsmen pin on their boutonnieres!
Price:
We looked at several vendors and felt that what she gives you for her price is very reasonable and worth every penny.
BEST TUX SHOP EVER.
We had a really horrible experience at Men's Wearhouse (bad customer service and bad tux options; we ended up asking for a refund of our deposit), but The Tuxedo Club totally, completely and above-and-beyond redeemed our wedding tux rental experience.
The owner (Bob) is super friendly, funny and knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed doing business with him for our June 2011 wedding.
He offered tons of styles, including the latest trends. Finally, we found a place that actually offers a huge non-pleated pants! In fact, most of the pant options were non-pleated, which is completely opposite from Men's Wearhouse and The Tux Shop.
He also had tons of jacket sizing options that my fiance could try on. My fiance needed something weird like 43 short with an athletic cut and he was able to find something that fit him perfectly. At MW, they literally forced us to pick a jacket that made my fiance look like he was wearing a box. Not only that, MW didn't actually have the tux jackets in the store, so my fiance was trying on suit jackets that were supposed to be close in fit to the tux jackets.
The Tuxedo Club is also awesome because they will pick up the tuxes from you at the end of your rental period so you don't have to bring them all back to the shop.
This place is a bit pricier than MW, but it was worth every penny.
Thank you to The Tuxedo Club for helping make our wedding everything we wanted and more :)
We were looking for simple and elegant wedding invitations that didn't cost an arm and a leg, and we found it here at Ink Fancy!
Tere was great to work with for our June 2011 wedding. She helped us create invitations that fit our style and budget. She was patient in helping us find the perfect fonts and working through our ideas to put our own spin on one of her designs. She was communicative throughout the entire process as well, providing proofs and status updates on the printing and shipping. Her prices were also very reasonable, especially for letterpress. Her price quote actually ended up being almost the same as the quote we got from another vendor for non-letterpress invitations!
We absolutely loved our invitations and we definitely got a lot of ooohhs and ahhhs when our guests got them in the mail :)
