If you're looking for someone easy-going and easy to get along with who will make you look amazing in photos - this is who you want. I highly recommend taking advantage of the free engagement photos session. We weren't going to, but were glad we did because the pictures were so amazing. Her wedding photos were even better! She caught moments with my guests that I didn't even know happened. Not to mention the beautiful moments between my husband and I.
They were amazing! They kept the guests entertained all throughout dinner and kept everyone dancing throughout the night. I highly recommend getting 2 dj's (worth the extra money) and playing "Name that Tune".
Their chocolate is great. The girls at the store went out of their way to accomodate my wedding favour wishes. They even designed a new chocolate bar size to fit my budget and needs.
Melanie is amazing! Her flower arrangements are so beautiful and her prices can't be beat. I had ordered roses and peonies for my bridal bouquet and when the roses came in she wasn't happy with the shade that they were, so she upgraded me to all peonies for free. Everyone commented on how beautiful the bouquets were.
The resort is so beautiful. If you're looking for a small, relaxing honeymoon this is perfect. The rooms are beautiful wooden rooms set up on stilts so that when you look out your window all you see is palms trees and gardens. The beach is try lined and makes you feel like you're on a beautiful island instead of a mega-resort. The water is clear blue and the sand is white. There's more than enough beach and pool chairs for everyone, so you don't have to rush down in the morning to reserve one. The a-la-carte restaurant is open 4 nights a week and you can dine there every night it's open - which I recommend because it has the best resort food I've ever had (it even rivals some of the gourmet Canadian restaurants I've been to).
We got the Lincoln Navigator limo and it was so nice. It comes with ice and glasses and a free bottle of champagne. The limo driver was very attentive, bringing us water during the photo shoot and keeping the ringbearer and flower girl occupied during the long day.
Revered Derek is great! He is very friendly and easy-going. He will travel anywhere in the Niagara Region you need him. You can have a non-religious ceremony, which is what we chose. His wife, Shelley, will send you a sample of the two types of ceremonies and then you can customize them with any prayers or vows that you want added in.
