I ordered Akito and Vendala roses from Global Rose and had them deliverd to Parrot Key Resort for DIY. They were beautiful and arrived on time. I wish they had forwarded me the tracking number as noted on the website. I emailed them within 24hours of delivery asking for it and never got a reply. That's my only complaint. I would reccomend them. The price and flowers were perfect.
I ordered white lisianthis from this company and had them delivered to Parrot Key resort. The flowers were beautiful and arrived on time. I also did receive a tracking number.
We had our rehersal dinner at Jimmy Buffets. We selected this location due to the nostagla. They had our reservation wrong. They had us penciled in for 6pm when we reserved 7pm. They gave me attitude about being late. The music was too loud. You could only talk to the people sitting right next to you. Our group only had 13 people but, trying to talk to people sitting two people over seemed like a differnet planet. The food was typical chain restaurant food like an Applebee's etc. Of course you need to have a margaritta at margarittaville right? Guess what, it's not even served in a margaritta glass. The overpriced margaritta is served in a standard drinking glass. Enen my dad who loves Jimmy Buffet and was so excited to have dinner here was very disappointed. I wouldn't reccomend this restaurant.
Christy was an amazing photographer. I am so glad we choose her. She was professional and easy to work with. The photos are so beautiful. We received the photos within two weeks after the wedding and have a disk with the rights to produce our own prints.
Aaron was a wonderful additioan to our wedding. He worked with us to customize our ceremony to our wishes. Hi's speaking voice during teh ceremony was very smooth and calming. He offered suggestions for little details that I never would've thought of that made a difference. The wind was blowing so he suggested that I stand on the side with the wind to my face. Having my husband place the bouquet on teh ground in front of us during the ceremony etc.
Duane was a wonderful person to have at our wedding. The steel drums added to teh beautiful atomsphere. Duane was very easy to work with.
I would reccomend Tropical car rentals. This was one of out only things that went wrong. I had reserved a 6 person electric car to shuttle my guests. My future husband went to pick up the car on the day of the wedding. They wouldn't let him rent the car with my credit card wihtout me there. They wasnted to charge him double the price than advertised and they didn't end think they still had a 6 person car in stock. I had reserved the car three months in advance and had a reservation number. We didn't get a car.
We rented bamboo chairs for ceremony. Something was confusing with the address of the rental location. My dad and husband drove all over Key West trying to find First street. There are two. one is near Duval and the other is basicly off Key West around mile marker 10. The location is actually near mile marker 10. We got that chairs ahey were great but, the confusion over where the location is added stress to the day.
I have to mention the Winn Dixie staff. My mother and aunt went on a shopping trip for me the day we arrived in Key West. They were having a hard time finding some of the items. The staff was very helpful and generous. They even cleaned out and gave them empty deli buckets to use for my bulk flowers that I had delivered to the hotel (from another vendor). Winn Dixie is located across the street from Parrot Key Resort. No, you can't even see the road for the resort.
