The flowers were more beautiful than I imagined. Gary, the wedding florist, really outdid himself. They were perfect and everyone commented on how gorgeous they were.
We absolutely loved our cakes. The wedding cake was not only completely gorgeous but was delicious. Our guests confirmed this. The groom's cake was decorated perfectly and also tasted amazing. The only thing we wished was different was for the country club to have cut larger slices of cake for the guests. They pretty much cut slivers instead of pieces so we have a freezer-full of cake left over. That's not too much of a problem though because we will eat it ourselves. The only thing I would recommend is suggesting how large to cut the pieces so the bride can tell her cake cutting service how to do it. However the cakes both looked and tasted perfect!
