"Antonio Florez did my wedding pictures and they are gorgeous. When I first started planning my wedding I had my mind set on finding a photo journalistic photographer. However, when I looked at some wedding albums from beginning to end, of that photographic style, I realized that they were too random for me. Even though I'm not terribly interested in stiff posses, I knew I wanted a few traditional pictures with the family. In addition, I needed someone who could be very artistic and creative. So I decided I needed a more universal photographer who would be capable of giving me a little bit of each style. I'm not an expert in photography, but I knew what I wanted for my wedding. Antonio Florez and his team were the best choice I could have ever made. I was very specific, I printed a few sample pictures, I gave him a list of "must have" pictures and I asked him to be very creative. The pictures are breathtaking, he is a genious. I wish I could post more pictures here. Another very important thing about Antonio is that he knows the city like the palm of his hand so he knows the best locations for beautiful pictures. We did a photo session day around the old city two days after our wedding, and the pictures are amazing. His wife Vilma is also very sweet and helpful and they are very good at getting back to you. They are definitely a great selection."
We used this salon for our flowergirls. They did a good job, the girls looked adorable.
Amazing! I totally recommend this vendor. He is extremely nice and helpful. The music is gorgeous, and he plays with Cartagena's Symphonic Orchestra. He helped me select the music for our ceremony and edit my wedding programs.

The Mariachi was great!!!! My wedding planner found them for me, the owner's name is Christian Da Costa. It was very nice to have Mariachi in our wedding, this Mariachi sang nicely and their attires were nice.
The Islas del Rosario are a beautiful destination. We planned a day trip for all our guests the day before the wedding. The food was very good and service was OK. I'm not particularly fond of this vendor because we had a big misunderstanding. We initially paid for 50 guests and we were told that we would have an exclusive speed boat and an exclusive part of the island for our party. Our number of guests attending the trip went up to 80 and we were told that we needed to use a yatch because of passenger capacity. However, we were never informed that the trip in the yatch would not be exclusive. When we got to the Marina the yatch was almost full with about 100 people that we didn't know. Not only we couldn't seat together, but when we got to Cocoliso the only exclusive part of the island was a dinning room. There was no privacy elsewhere. The side of the island where we were located, the beach was not a beach because it has a concrete boardwalk painted in different colors. I would NOT recommend this vendor at all. Don't want to sound mean but I really want to give honest feedback to other brides.
I think my wedding cake was pretty and I like that Elsy offers a variety of exotic flavors, such as uchua fruit cake. They are very helpful and they even sent one of their employees to cut the cake during our wedding.
However, I believe in the power of honest and meaningful feedback and I have to say that I'm not impressed with her cakes. I gave them a picture of the cake that I wanted and they told me that they would make it for me. I trusted their quality based on the excellent reviews that this company generally has. First of all, the level of detail was not there, it was pretty but in my humble opinion it's not gorgeous. Secondly, the cake was dry.
I would recommend this vendot, but my advice to any bride is to very specific about what you need, go beyond the picture and explain very clearly your expectations.

Ekobios is great! We hired them for our mulatas & tamboreros while leaving the church. We walked with then from the church to Casa Estrella and it was so cool!!! I definitely recommend them.
My flowers were perfect. I have to say that I have great respect for this company. As you may know, the founder of Florarte was William Baena who unfortunately passed away three weeks before my wedding... RIP. I was a little nervous because he was the person who designed the flowers for my wedding and he was the only person that I spoke to at his company. Well, it turns out that his assitant took great notes of everything he planned, and his sisters were also part of the company. Florarte continues performing to the highest standards despite their terrible loss. His sister personally delivered my flowers and they were perfect and gorgeous. I totally recommend this company.
Fernando Perez was my makeup artist and he is fabulous. He did my make up for our rehersal dinner, wedding day and a wedding photo shoot day. He is amazing, he is an expert with makeup. I was a little concerned because I tend to be allergic to certain makeup brands and specially to eyelash glue. I also didn't want to look like I was wearing too much make up, or like Minnie Mouse cause the lashes looked terribly long. The products that he uses are top of the line, I had no allergies, the lashes looked great, it all looked very natural. I know that he could be more pricy than other salons but I think it's worth the money. He also did makeup for my entire bridal party, my Mom and my Mother-in-law, and everybody was very happy.
