Amazing photographer and the nicest person to boot! Audrey makes you feel relaxed and a friend from the first meeting and does her upmost in the months prior to the wedding and on the big day itself to make things as easy and stress free as possible. She arrived during the bridal prep so plenty of opportunities for pics before hand. She brought a colleague with her so that they could acheive the full formal and candid shot mix that I required. They both came to the church and unobtrusively took amazing ceremony shots, afterwards outside and on the walk up to One Devonshire for our reception. They both stayed until supper and Audrey herself stayed until well into the night enabling us to get plenty of fist dance and party shots. She really went the extra mile making all our family and friends feel special and totally at ease with the camera. When we got the photos a few weeks later, we were totally blown away! Compltely beautiful and so many!! Audrey is a real find and a wedding photography star of the future. Book her now whilst you can!!!
Fantastic! I did alot of research into music/DJ's and Dougie was by far the best in terms of attitude, musical knowledge and a very competitive price. He has enormous experience ranging from his Radio Clyde DJ days to a multitude of weddings in more recent years. He took on my rather ecclectic and long play list requests and incorporated them into a fabulous mix of music over more than four hours during which time the dance floor was not once empty! The lighting and his understated manner were just perfect for a fun yet dignified end to a perfect day.
Beautiful cake! These people are so clever, and such lovely people to deal with. Mandi took on all my ideas and requests for lace pipe work, alternative design ideas, hand made lilac roses for the top to match my bouquet and even allowed me to bake the large bottom tier myself to my dear departed grandmother's recipe which Mandi and her team then expertly iced and put together with two sponge tiers to form a complete work of art. So many fab comments from all my guests, would highly reccommend them!
A truly beautiful veil handmade in just three weeks! It was exactly as I had requested, very soft ivory toile with pretty and very delicate little sparkly bits around the edge and more sparsely towards the middle, as if little tiny bits of stardust had been scattered accross it. This was such a complete bargain, I tried on veils costing more than eight times the cost of this one and they were no more beautiful or as perfect. She will send you samples of all the different materials and edgings for a very small fee. Definitely worth a look!
Mary and Lisa were fantastic. I met them both a few months before the big day to discuss styles for both hair and make-up and to have a trial for both. This was very useful as it meant I could change any little details i wasn't sure about and then on the day itself we all knew exactly what we were doing and what to expect. They were so proffessional on the day, arriving in plenty of time so that my mum, sister, daughter and I could all get ready without being in a rush. I felt like a complete princess when they had finished, as did my mum and sister who both agreed it was the best they had ever looked, even at their own weddings! These girls are a real A team and you can't go wrong if you have them there to sort out all you hair and make-up on your big day. Highly reccommended!
I love my dress! Don't even bother going anywhere else! Granted its a bit of a trek from Glasgow into Edinburgh for fittings etc but its so worth it for a perfect, hand made, perfectly fitted dress made to measure to fit you like a glove. The material (cream silk satin covered in fine corded french lace) was so stunningly beautiful and the design was both elegant and slightly sexy at the same time. Rachael, the main seamstress at the Edinburgh shop is an angel and an absolute fiend with a needle! She is a very clever lady who can make your dress fit you like one which would cost three or four times the amount with her clever little details and tucks here and there. Lucy, the manageress is just lovely and so welcoming. They will make you feel like a princess from the very first appoinment and you will end up with not just a dress but a work of art which you can keep and pass onto the next generation. Just amazing! Highly reccommended!!
