If I could double the stars on this recommendation, I would. Marky Carr coordinates all events for Radonich Ranch off Summit Road in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Her prices include all table linens and settings, table flowers, all set-up, clean-up. It includes all non-alcoholic beverages and the most deliciously fresh food imaginable. She coordinates all efforts with one's other vendors eg. photographer, band, wine, etc. and does it all with a warm reassuring smile. She is just amazing and her staff is equally friendly and professional. They took care of everything so that we could just relax and enjoy the day. If you are looking for a sweet, rustic setting, head for the hills and talk with Marky Carr at Radonich Ranch. Our daughter's wedding was PERFECT.
If you enjoy swing music, they're the best! Professional, on time... great musicians. We particularly enjoyed the extra horns with the 7 piece ensemble.
I first tasted one of Edith's cakes at a friend's daughter's wedding. Not only was it beautiful, but it was by far the very best tasting wedding cake I'd ever had. Untraditionally, my daughter and son-in-law chose to have an assortment of pies rather than cake at their wedding. Once again, Edith delivered... 3 different seasonal pies and a pear galette... all divinely delicious.
Working with Wendy was great. She asked all the right questions in order to get exactly the colors, textures, and flower choices that my daughter was looking for. Very professional and dependable service as well.
Sara at Crescent Moon does beautiful work. My daughter was very happy with the beautiful paper used and the elegant simplicity of the design. When a label for party favors turned out to be too large and the wrong shape, Sara had new ones printed and in our hands by the next morning. She is easy-going yet very professional.
Steve has so much experience with weddings that he is able to do all "portrait" shots in very little time. He is unobtrusive and easy-going, yet manages to get all the photos you hope to have at the end of the day. His prices are very fair, and he is generous with his time. Best of all, we have the most beautiful photo record of our daughter's wedding! I highly recommend Steve Kurtz.
They use local artists to make their jewelry which is very reasonably priced. Both my daughter (the bride) and my mom had pearl necklaces and earrings made to specifications and both were perfect. The staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful. However, they are not always easy to reach on the phone (even during business hours). And they are sometimes not open when one would expect them to be. That said, I would recommend them highly for their willingness to work with you to get exactly what you want at a very good price.
