We had a intimate dinner after our wedding at Billy's in Anoka. The food was great and so was the price. The food did come out very late but everyone was mingling so no one was really all that concerned. They also only had 1 waitress serving us, the poor girl. There were 50 people! They should have brought on 1 more person. But our waitress did an amazing job and we left her with a great tip! The basement is where we had our dinner and it has the history of Anoka all over it. Brick walls etc. It was really nice we had a great time at Billy's.
I had a fantastic experience at the Wedding Chapel in Crystal MN. I had a terrible experience at David's Bridal. I tried on so many dresses at the wedding chapel and had 3 picked out that I kept going back and trying on so I could pick just 1 ! Well then I tried on a brand new one and ended up picking that one! I worked with Jan she was so patient and helpful. Those 2 words don't do her enough justice. She was fantastic! I bought the sample dress from the showroom floor and got it at a great price. With that price they fixed all the beads and sequences that had fallen off from other brides trying the dress on. I also had them alter my dress for a very small fee they did amazing work. I had straps added and the dress had to be brought in just a bit. I also had pads added so no bra was necessary. They also fixed some flower things that were on the dress. I can't remember the seamstresses name but she was wonderful too. I have referred 2 friends there and both have bought their wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses from there. Work with Jan if you get the chance!
Jen was very professional. I was happy with how the pictures turned out. She is somewhat new to the business but as I watch her portfolio grow and grow her talents gets better and better!She seems to have a knack of taking newborn pictures and couples pictures - you have to check them out their so cute! Her prices were great and the turn around for us getting our disc of pics back was very short. My only concern was I wish she would have brought up more creative ideas as we took pictures. We used her for wedding and couples/engagement photos. Again her price can not be beat and she was very professional!
