Since we were going to have our rings tattoo'd after the ceremony we decided on a lei exchange instead of a ring exchange during the ceremony. We went to Aunty Bella's Leistand and where we were treated like family!!! This stand is being run by Aunty Bella's granddaughter and her husband. They immediately came us with several ideas for lei options for our wedding. My husband ended up buying the traditional man's wedding lei which they had pre-made. Then they showed me several styles for a woman's lei and then handmade mine to order. Then, when we went to pick up the lei's the night before the wedding, she suggested a hair piece she thought would look good and proceeded to make it for me right then and there!!! They did such an amazing job. Of of their lei's are wonderful! I would suggest you stop by Aunty Bella's Leistand when in Honolulu, HI and treat yourself to a handmade lei!!!
We decided last minute to get married on 10-10-10 in Hawaii. We called a couple places and because of the date and location everyone was booked solid. We called Rev. Greg Christopherson and spoke with his wife Judy. He too was booked for the day but she was so sweet. She spoke to the Reverend and was able to squeeze us in between ceremonies. I'm sure it made for a very long day for him and his wife but they were very professional and very nice. They helped to make our day perfect! I would recommend Reverend Greg Christopherson to anyone getting married on Oahu, Hawaii!!!
