This is not a typical wedding band. Sarah and her band members are simply incredible. Easy to work with, entirely pro, and will have all your guests rocking. They can play ANYTHING, but give you access to an online song selection tool prior to your event. If you have a special tune request, Sarah can work that out for you (within reason). Male or female lead singers, full band sound, including horns if you budget for that. This element will make the whole event fantastic.
If you're looking for wedding planners who listen to you, make your day seamless, relieve you of wedding day stress, and simply get the job done....DO NOT hire this company. They were great women to talk to, until I needed them to do their job during wedding week and day-of. Not everything was terrible of course, but:
- didn't follow the very well-communicated and printed order of ceremony...let the groom's parents go down the aisle waaay to early, so they were standing there long before processional. Then they literally pushed my first bridesmaid to walk down the aisle long before planned. This caused confusion for most of the following bridal party and guests, who couldn't figure out why the bridesmaid was standing in the middle of the aisle to some random song.
Bear in mind that I, the bride, saw this happen, and said to the coordinator "What are you doing? We need to wait for the music"...her response? "It's okay!! Don't worry about it! Everything's great!" What could we do with that?
- the decor company screwed up centrepieces and bridal party florals...the coordinators did not address this
- the coordinators did not keep the reception flow going..lots of dead air and disorganization despite our detailed schedule
- didn't follow the floorplan for reception layout
- Didn't supervise the cocktail hour at all. The pianist's piano was locked by the venue sometime after the ceremony, and the DVD player of a very carefully created secret video didn't play. The coordinators were nowhere to be found.
- My guests complained that they were extremely "in your face" about getting the wallflowers on the dancefloor.
- following our wedding, I tried to discuss these things with them (we had of course, paid them cash as required) - not only were they disinterested in our comments, they actually called me an Anti-Semite, adding literal insult to injury.
Sugar Mama is amaaaazing! We ordered loads of cupcakes and mini cupcakes for our Valentine's Day engagement party. We wanted something that tied to the love theme without being tacky or too cute. They created the prettiest little cupcake flags and displayed the cupcakes on a tiered glass tower. Aside from the gorgeous look of the cupcakes, they were HEAVEN with every bite. We chose "Centre of Attention" - raspberry-filled vanilla cakes. You think you've had good raspberry until you try these, which blow your mind.
Outstanding service, quality, presentation and professionalism.
We've had a couple of their other flavours since, and every one is fantastic.
Words really can't express how fantastic Renaissance Studio photography is. Professional, creative, inspired, positive, fun...just great people with a passion for what they do. Melissa runs the studio, managing your fees, questionnaires, schedules etc. And you'll get photographers that suit your unique personalities, so your photos will reflect you - not the guy behind the camera. Working with Shawn and Clint for our epic engagement shoot in Las Vegas, and then Shawn and Josh on our wedding day was fabulous. Our photos are stunning, and we had so much fun with the entire studio throughout the process. You really can't go wrong hiring RS for your wedding.
