We had the pleasure of working with a local bakery and deli called The Cork and More. We had a wonderful cake tasting prepared for us and they didn't have any red velvet available so they pulled one of the fresh red velvet cupcakes out of the case to give to us ! The cake was amazing in taste and beauty. They did things with buttercream that no one even knew were possible. A simple yet classic 3 tier round design with imported purple picasso lilies were the accent. We wanted purple ribbon accenting the bottom of each tier and since they used that color ribbon for their gift baskets they did it for us free of charge ! Each tier was amazing. Our top tier was yellow/chocolate marble cake with chocolate ganache filling. The middle tier was white cake with fresh strawberry and bavarian cream filling and the bottom tier was red velvet with cream cheese filling - all topped in a creamy smooth buttercream. Amazing service , excellent delivery and set up and very reasonable pricing and great communication through the process !
