We had Lisa V. as the primary photographer and Melina as the 2nd. For a photo journalist I didn't think that the photos were particularly creative. I definitely wanted the formal church portraits but also informal photo-journalism style shots as well. The formal portraits are nicely arranged but took quite a bit time. Nothing really stands out as particularly unique.

Would not recommend. I’m an easy-going person and I am astonished by the lack of attention to details and SIMPLE requests. Shelli was farily helpful in the initial consulation but was dissmive after receiving the deposit. She did not listen to what color mix I was aiming for. She wrote down many decisions about ribbon color, how to wrap the stems, etc. and did not execute on them. She dismissed my concerns about the color of the roses and in the end they appeared and photographed mush brighter, just as I feared—I would have gone with a different mix of colors. The men’s boutonnieres were nothing short of tacky. They were GIGANTIC roses. What in the world would a 2-rose boutonniere look like if 1 rose is that massive? We had to pull half the petals off of the 4-year old ring bearer’s! The women’s corsages were ok but the colors didn’t match the rest of flowers. The flowers were no doubt VERY fresh but were a big disappointment and not arranged well for a hand-held bouquet!

Our DJ played great music! We put in many 'requested' songs so that he could get a good sense of the music we liked to dance to. My only regret is that he didn't drive things more. He let us (which is great for some people) which meant that I was chasing down the groom much of the time.

We got a traditional wedding cake. It was fantastic (moist and flavorful) and decorated beautifully! The consultants were friendly and helpful--some better than others.

I had significantly over estimated the amount needed and with 2 weeks to go wanted to decrease the size of just the largest tier by 1 size (the other 2 tiers would not have been impacted as they were 2 sizes smaller than the largest). I was not allowed. I was forced to decrease the sheet cake which is a difference of about $100 for a smaller round or $17 for a smaller sheet cake. A bit frustrating since the final payment isn't due until 2 weeks before but I could not make a small adjustment to the order 2 weeks before.
