We had a very small budget for our wedding but wanted to maximize what we could provide for our guests (~125 people). My husband had worked with the school district previously when they catered some events and we knew they did a great job. They had a large menu and are willing to make special items at your request. Because they buy in bulk for the school district they offer amazing prices. I would definitely recommend the Corvallis School District as a caterer for any event. Our guests loved the food and we had a great spread (taco bar for dinner, chicken satay and veggies for appetizers).
Special Occasions is pretty much the only vendor for rentals and they are pricey, but it was our only option. They were very timely with delivery and setting up the large tent we ordered was pretty simple for us (we got the largest size we could still put up ourselves). Everything was picked up when it was supposed to be! We got all of our tables and chairs and 2 large tents from here.
We got a tip from our caterer that Heath's laundry in Albany has the best deal on linens. We weren't picky about color (they only have white) so it was great to save a little on linens. I work in Albany so it was easy to pick up and drop off the linens.
We rented speakers and a PA system from Gracewinds. It was very easy to hook everything up to our computer for music. A microphone was included so we could greet our guests. The price was very reasonable for a weekend rental.
