I got to Per Se Aveda normally to get my hair done, and thus was happy to give them my service for my wedding day. Absolutely loved the way my hair came out, and my bridesmaids were thoroughly happy with theirs as well. We also used one of their makeup artists, and she was just fabulous. Per Se was a great place to begin our day.
Throughout our entire reception (and after), we had a number of people coming up to us raving about the band. The Clark Eno Orchestra played a solid mix of songs that people of all ages could dance to. They even put together a disk of songs for us (based on our preferences) for their break. Highly recommend.
I had Classic Cakes by Carol make a surprise groom's cake for my husband. It came out fantastic, was actually much tastier than our wedding cake (supplied by The Riverview), and the prices were totally reasonable. Highly recommend.
One of my favorite parts about our wedding was the flowers. I loved working with Sandy of A Special Place prior to the wedding, and she completely got my floral vision, and delivered above and beyond. Not only did we have the most beautiful flowers, but they all smelled amazing.
Our save the dates and invitations were perhaps the "thing" I was most excited about in planning our wedding (aside from the actual aspect of getting married!). I have been a fan of Cheree Berry's work for a long time, and splurged on my set of letterpress save the dates and invitations. They were absolutely gorgeous, and we got so many compliments on them. The only reason I'm giving them four stars is because they truly are a bit overpriced. I probably could have gotten a similar design from somewhere else for a bit cheaper. However, the service was top notch, and I truly enjoyed working with my contact at Cheree Berry.
Double A was the only transporation company in the state that supplied trollies, and we were able to rent one of their two. Overall, we were pretty happy with the service. The trolley itself was a little bright-looking, but fine. We had a rather bumpy drive though, and a little incident with our driver slamming on the brakes at one point, though it wasn't really his fault.
Eileen is my favorite vendor from our wedding. Highly recommended to us from some friends, she was incredibly easy to get along with, and just made the day that much more relaxing and fun. She was easy to communicate with prior to the wedding as well, which is important. At a month out, we haven't seen our photos yet (other than one!), but I'm confident that they'll be stunning.
