I would never use this person again. Use a larger company, and be sure and read the contract. I also recommend seeing if they will come out and set up. During set up, an accident occurred, someone tripped on a wire, and a knob came off the reciever, we set up the equipment, and we had to buy the guy a new one, in addition something cracked on the speaker and we had to pay for the repairs, and that was fine, but we would have preferred to repair ourselves and save some money. Everything worked great with these two minor problems, and we wanted to take responsibility for it, and we told him such when we dropped off the equipment next day, but he chose to file a criminal property damage compaint with the county sheriff. When the sherrif called us we told him we intended on living up to the contractual obligations and would pay for damages, just as we told the guy. In the end, we could have just bought our own equipment in the end for about the same cost. I would find a larger company that had insurance and didn't make you pay for wear and tear and would do set up. Accidents happen and this was not a good experience at all and the stress of it was compounded by the stress of all the other wedding related events/details.
