Not what I expected. The food was great, but certainly not luxury. There were many locals trying to sell you things as they walk down the beach, very unsettling. One thing we did love was the catamaran tour! If you go here make sure you do that at least once.
Southern Way Catering was recommended to me by owners of a fine dining restaurant in Clemson, SC. From the time I contacted Southern Way to the end of the reception everything was smooth. They provided excellent food, ideas, presentation and expertise. I never worried about anything concerning them. They communicated though email, phone and texting and were extremely accommodating! I had my wedding in Folly Beach and they are located in Columbia SC and were more than happy to cater over 2 hours away! No need to look anywhere else! Great food and staff!!!
PERFECT!!! Jay Maxwell's team is amazing! I requested Mike and I could not ask for anything more. He was perfect! He sat down and met with us and went over the entire ceremony and reception. He took requests from my guests. He was not pushy or intrusive but yet made everything flow smoothly. He also provided us with a CD of all the music he played at our wedding! ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!! Fantastic!! Almost all of my bridesmaids (6) hair came out perfect!! The only reason I am noy giving them 5 stars is because of that. They were fabulous other than that. They set out a meat and cheese platter for us. We had a couple girls change their minds last minute, they were very accommodating!!! My hair came out flawless and exactly what I asked for! Excellent customer service and VERY fair pricing!!!
Barbara was professional, experienced and a wonderful addition to our ceremony. She knew exactly what to do and when to do it. She was also fine with us writing our own vows. She also provided vows for us to use.
We used a honeymoon registry and were happy with that. All I can suggest is for you to try to do all the things people buy for you. It gives you the option to put activities with prices on them, but really the money just goes into your bank account. An easy way to ask for money, but people will expect to hear about the excursions they bought for you.
