This was the preferred DJ for our reception site and I have NO IDEA why. Ken was so horrible that it ended up being comic entertainment. First, I got a voicemail the night before the wedding saying that he had lost the ceremony information but would "play something really good." He then couldn't find one of the songs and was thrown aback and "had never thought about looking" at ITunes to find the song. Each song of the processional, my entrance, and the recessional weren't played correctly. (I was all the way out of sight before he managed to start the recessional. He claims that someone tripped over the power cord, but we saw him loading the CD as we were walking out.) I'm glad I had a videographer so that the ceremony can be edited to reflect what I have always wanted since Ken was unable to provide. Then the reception... the entance was full of stutters, "uhhh's" and mispronounced or even skipped names. For dinner music, I had requested "more modern music (as opposed to rat pack) such as John Mayer, Michael Buble, Jason Mraz, etc." He literally put in the John Mayer Room for Squares CD and let it play through. To top it all off, at least 5 songs were interrupted by scratched CD's skipping. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT THE DAY OF YOUR DREAMS.
Cutting Edge is the only caterer for this location. They did an awesome job! Chad was very personable and easy to plan with. The food was absolutely amazing and at a reasonable price. I highly reccomend the stuffed shells (guests are still raving about them).
This was the preferred bakery of Cutting Edge Catering. Our cake turned out perfect and was delicious! We went with alternating tiers of lemon with lemon cream and chocolate with oreo mousse.
My flowers and centerpieces were absolutely beautiful! I had dreaded going to a florist in general becuase I was so unsure of exactly what I wanted. But my initial meeting @ Catherine's Garden was SO EASY and relatively fast! They had great suggestions and really knew how to make everything fit together (and at a great price).
This was definitly a highlight for everyone of my wedding. Everyone had fun, especially with the provided props and scrapbook. Everyone also seemed to enjoy that this photobooth could fit many people into it and had a viewing screen for those waiting in line. The company was on time, very personable, AND we had our digital negatives of all pictures taken before we left at night. Photo booths, overall, are excellent for weddings becuase it gives non-dancers something to do!
