Dave (and Mel) was easy to deal with from the beginning. For the style and quality of photos that we wanted, he was priced competitvely.
They took lots of photos, which as good.
Unlike most brides out there (I suspect) my now wife did not grow up thinking about her big day. She was and is very functional and simple and so when it came time to photos, she (and myself) did not have any plans or suggestions to give Dave about what we wanted (beyond one location). Unfortunately, with Dave being such a nice guy and not pushy, it felt that we were not getting what we should be getting i.e., showing who we are together and how we feel for one another.
Looking back, neiher my wife nor I are 'public-display-of-affection' types and since Dave has a light touch and tends to let the moment tell the story, I am curious to see what we get back. I am worried that it will be very litle in terms of the "standard" look, i.e., intimate shots, creative shots, etc.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that I would have preferred Dave to have recognized our indifference/reticence and taken a more heavy handed, controlled approach.
Finally, I recognize that we were at the forefront of the wedding season and that he is busy, but it is over a month since our wedding and we have yet to receive our photos (apart from seeing about 20 proofs) or more importantly, our thank you cards. Again, this is inevitably tied to the time of the year, but the thank you cards would be nice to get out.
I'd use him again...I'd just tell him to get involved more.
Easy to deal with and generally helpful. While I waited longer than I hoped for my wedding party gifts to come in, that might be because of when I ordered....or their vendor was slow.
Easy to deal with - great quality and fair price. Lidia was easy to deal with and gave me a quick turnaround.
Having attended a wedding that used his services and enjoyed it, I retained his services. He was cost effective ($440) but for whatever reason by the time our wedding rolled around, it was not the same.
First, he didn't show up and sent a substitute. Great. He double booked. Thanks asshole.
Then the substitute guy didn't know what the amount was to collect. If I wasn't honest, I could have given him whatever.
Then - and this is he worst - he played MAYBE a quarter of the 200 songs that I provided them with. The music selection he played was AWFUL and showed on the empty dance floor. WTF!?
Do not use this guy.
