My family really enjoyed the DJ we had, and he played all the music they requested. He was professional during the dance and I was happy for that. However, Music Mix did not want to meet with me before the wedding (even after I asked and sent lots of questions via email), and directly after the ceremony on our wedding day the DJ stopped me for fifteen minutes to give me a run-down of the night. I would have liked to do that earlier so I could have not had to work on it that night. That's it. It all turned out fine, so it's not a big deal. But all brides know that any way the stress of the night could be alleviated, it would be better. And the DJ was one thing I was worried about the ENTIRE time before we got married because I didn't really understand what was going to happen.
Margaret Ann is out of Sparta, and you will have to look up her name online as she doesn't have a website. The cakes and the service were AMAZING. What a wonderful woman with amazing service. We had little cakes on the tables, and she was willing to do as many designs and flavors as I wanted. AND THEY TASTED AMAZING and LOOKED BEAUTIFUL. Hands down the best cake I ever had. You do have to be able to travel to Sparta to meet with her about your choices/options.
The prices were very reasonable, and I just brought in some pictures and they did a beautiful job with everything. Very nice and affordable (for wedding flowers, that is--it's never going to be inexpensive). Also delivered at the exact time that they said they would.
Incredibly nice, wonderful with our party, and really took the time to work with us and get to know us before the ceremony. My parents were worried about having a non-religious ceremony, and they were pleased with how nice it was. He did an excellent job. I was so happy. :)
We worked with Diane Knothe, and she was just a wonderful photographer. Price is much more reasonable than some of the others in the area, and she is so nice and has great ideas. Our engagement and wedding pics were amazing. And she was helped by Stephanie Neprud on the wedding day. The pics are amazing, and I highly recommend both of them!! Loved it!
Okay, this is actually for the venue and the food since they are one and the same. I can't even begin to describe how amazing this experience was. Lori at Pettibone is great. Fast, fast, fast email responses for a nervous bride as far as 15 months before the wedding. Super nice and accommodating. The place is really nice, and the outdoor patio was amazing for our ceremony. Had such an amazing time. The coordinators that night were really professional and nice as well. I was so pleased with everything and couldn't have had a better day. And the food and salad bar was also better than a lot of wedding food I've had before (and I've had quite a bit). I chose Pettibone because it was a very pretty venue with the most reasonable prices I could find, and I shopped around quite a bit. I definitely recommend.
