Amy's makes the best-tasting cakes around! We didn't get a big traditional wedding cake, instead we got 5 or 6 smaller cakes in a few different flavors. It kept our budget down and gave our guests variety (mmm, carrot or chocolate raspberry?) But she'll make you a big wedding sheet cake, too, if that's your thing. Don't bother going anywhere else. These guys are fantastic! They were way cheaper than anyone else, and the food was outstanding. Even the vegetarians (including me) were satisfied with the tempeh option. They roll up in a truck with a big tow-behind smoker and cook your food on a massive grill while your guests enjoy cocktails. Best wedding food ever, and totally within your budget. Plus, the owner is insanely friendly and accommodating.
If you need electricity for your outdoor wedding, call these guys. They were able to supply the correct type of power for a very demanding band. The generator was quiet, delivered on time, the band was happy, and the staff at Powers was great. You might have to negotiate a bit to get them to do a less than full-week rental, but they should do it if you're nice. Much better price and service than the big nationwide rental companies, and much closer too.
These guys were the best. They came out to do a site visit, advised us on the right size tent and number of tables and chairs, and gave us a great price. We got the tent, tables, chairs, portable toilets (they have nice ones), stage, dancefloor and lighting from them. Very friendly and easy to deal with, and they took care of everything we needed them to.
