I purchased 7 or 8 boxes of the Jumbo White Hydrangea for bouquets, centerpieces and extra decor at the wedding. It was a lot of work to cut, transport and arrange all of the flowers right before the wedding, but they were beautiful. One stem came out to be about the size of a football, and they were not damaged in any way upon arrival. The only problem I had was that half of the order shipped the day they were supposed to arrive and the other half came around the same time the next day... it was a destination wedding, hours away from my home so I had to stay behind and wait until the shipment came and it set me back on a time. At least they all arrived and were amazingly beautiful! I would still use them in the future.
I purchased white ranunculus and they were perfect! They shipped on time, when they were supposed to arrive, and they made a beautiful bridal bouquet. I would use this vendor again in a heart beat. Great quality!
I was excited to purchase from this vendor because I loved their website and inventory. I wanted to purchase lavender to add to bouquets and centerpieces. When I went to order it, all lavender (with stem) products were out of stock! This was probably March or April right before and during the wedding rush. Finally I spotted one available option for lavender (with the stems, not the potpourri) so I ordered some. Weeks went by and no lavender. Finally I tried to call and figure out what happened to my order and no one could give me any concrete answers. They told me that they were shipped and to just keep waiting, but there was NO tracking number, which raised an eyebrow! In the end the flowers never came and luckily I was refunded my money. I will never purchase anything again from them.
I highly recommend Demetrios, even though the store was in San Diego. They had many dresses in stock and very helpful sales-women. Most of their dresses were too flashy and beaded for my taste, but I was still able to find a beautiful gown that was more subdued. I bought a gown for $1500 and was happily surprised at the quality of the dress! The alterations woman was super friendly too!
I loved Firestone for our Rehearsal Dinner. We had our own private room that came with a bar and a stage (just in case you have a presentation or want to play some music). We had many options to choose from when it came to the type of dinner we wanted to provide. We could also select many different beers and wines for our guests. Everything was extremely delicious and it was one of the least expensive places we looked at. The best part was that there WASN'T a facility fee! I can't wait to go there again when I'm up in Buellton, Solvang or Los Olivos.
Holy Moly! I love Simply Marvelous! In fact everyone at the wedding told me how much they loved their food. We had an outdoor BBQ, complete with all of the BBQ sides. Stephan fired up the Chicken and Santa Maria Tri-tip right there, and he had plenty of staff to help set-up and help with all of the bar services. Not only was this place affordable, but it provide awesome customer service and the most delicious BBQ I've ever tasted! I'd give it 10 stars if I could!
AMS was the best! From the customer service in the office all the way through to the DJ's at the wedding they provided the greatest services! Our DJ, James, was injured so he brought another DJ in training (at no extra cost!). It was like having two DJ's for the price of one. They were excellent when it came to introductions, music selection and asking what I wanted! I highly recommend AMS for your wedding or event!
Roadrunner shuttled all of our guests from Solvang (with 2 stops) to our wedding venue up in the mountains of Los Olivos. Many of our guests said that the road was scary, but they could tell that the driver obviously had driven the road many times and knew what he was doing. Everyone appreciated having a shuttle to and from the venue and thanks to Roadrunner it was a very positive experience!

They can create the most beautiful favors for your guests with professional and personalized labels. They have many styles and fonts to choose from and it is also fun picking out what type of extra virgin olive oil you want too. They only sell the highest quality olive oil that has been certified by the California Olive Oil Council. Our guests loved the favors -- the olive orchard and milling facility was just down the road from our venue, and who doesn't love a healthy favor to remember the occasion?
