Seri is an amazing wedding cake designer and baker. I had tried at least three other wedding cake vendors in the area, and either the cake was dry, or the frosting too sweet, or they only worked with buttercream, but wouldn't work with fondant. Then we found Serious Cake. Right away we knew she was the one we wanted to go with. I brought in pictures of three cakes that I liked different design elements from, and Seri was able to combine the three to make our ideal cake. I had so many of my guests raving about our wedding cake and how beautiful it was and how great it tasted. We originally thought we were going to have close to 75 guests, so we ordered a cake big enough to feed 80 guests, but ended up only having about 40 guests in the end. We were worried we'd have so much cake left over, but most of my guests ate a piece at the wedding and then asked to take a slice home with them they liked it so much, so that never ended up being a problem. We will definitely be using Seri for any future celebration cakes we need!
Rachel is the best! She helped my husband and I choreograph a beautiful dance for our 1st dance at our wedding. She's very patient, and an excellent instructor, no matter if you start learning 6 months before your wedding or 6 days before your wedding, which was the case with us! Definitely recommended!
Marina at Prestige Flowers was great at working with our fall theme and our very limited flower budget ($800). I had a gorgeous bridal bouquet of chocolate and mango orchids, and mango roses. My bridemaids had beautiful bouquets of mango calla lillies. For our reception table centerpieces we had tall trumpet shaped glass vases with curly willow and silk fall leaves glue to them, which canopied each table like a beautiful fall tree!
We had a beautiful classic 1957 Bentley as our vehicle for the wedding day. This car is so impressive. And Gordon, the owner was a wonderful driver.
Joanie officiated our wedding last month in June. She was very helpful in helping us come up with a ceremony that was both sweet and romantic, and very unique to us. My husband and I are of different faiths and wanted to still have a meaningful ceremony without offending any of our friends or family who may believe differently. Joanie was great at providing ideas and showing us samples of other ceremonies she's done to help get our creative juices flowing. I received several compliments from our wedding guests about our ceremony.
Jason with Focus Ring Productions was a great videographer for our wedding! We had not planned on even having a videographer for our wedding day, but when my dad got sick a month before the wedding and was not going to be able to make it, we decided to get a videographer. Jason was very accommodating with our last minute booking, and our budget constraints, since we hadn't budgeted in videography to begin with! Our wedding video turned out beautifully and will be something we'll cherish for years to come!
