"We made our own playlist. We even did our own announcing. But we still needed speakers, mics, etc. Jason at Speaker Connection specializes in just that, and for a SCREAMIN deal! He was so, so professional and was the perfect answer to our situation."

"We bought our wine from Trader Joe's in Chico (Bacio has their own booze license, so we were able to DIY our booze). Their wine steward was AMAZING. We told her our budget and menu and she expertly recommended 5 different reasonable wines. People even thanked us for getting 'the good stuff!'"

We had a little bit of miscommunication, but I think it was because we were a little unconventional and just wanted to pick up flowers from the farm the day before. They're used to couples having colors and exact flowers in mind, so I think we threw them off with our laid-back, 'anything in bloom in fall colors' request. But they were AMAZING flowers and looked stunning in simple mason jars along the tables (we self-arranged).

Betty's on Broadway

I'm a no-fuss farm girl. I tried on gowns and they just weren't for me. But I saw this Sue Wong dress in Betty's window and just wanted to try it on. Joanne gasped in astonishment when it fit like a dream. Then, for this broke bride, she said the magic words: layaway. And every time I went in to make a payment, we chatted about the plans and got to be pretty close. They're local, they're different, and I'd bet they'd even bring something in for you if you saw it somewhere online.

We were the 2nd wedding ever at this site, and because they don't have all of the systems in place like other established venues, it was easy for us to feel like the event was tailored to US. On the flipside, if you're looking for a venue that is 100% organized and tells you where the bride 'usually' walks in, where the buffet table 'usually' goes, etc, this place might not be for you. They have big future plans in the work, though! The grounds are amazing, the barn is PERFECT, the fountain gives a great extra touch. Perfect rustic wedding setting.

Bacio Catering Co

Bacio MADE our wedding happen. We were on a teeny tiny budget and were very DIY on everything but the food, which was SO important to us. We had an unconventional venue, but they worked with it so professionally and seamlessly. They worked with us on every detail, making not only the food but the tables, settings and overall layout of the event fit with our goals. Bacio is so much more than a caterer; they helped plan our event from start to finish, offering suggestions on things we would have never thought of. Melissa was our onsite coordinator, and she went above and beyond, even refreshing my drink before I'd even noticed I needed one! The food was impeccable; we've never seen so many empty plates at a wedding and we STILL get rave reviews about the food. Our wedding was US to a T, with huge thanks to Amanda and her team for listening to our ideas, asking all the right questions, and making sure we could pull it all off.
