Horrible in terms of professionalism. I went there to get my bridal trial updo, you know, to TRY OUT the hair style for your wedding... kind of a big day in your life. I got an updo that I really thought was beautiful- only problem was it completely fell apart (like 20 bobby pins fell out and everything was misshapen) within an hour. For someone looking to have a hairstyle last for over an hour, that was sort of a big deal. Well, I called the salon to complain about this and Stacy told me essentially that it was okay because it was just a trial. This MAY have been a semi-acceptable answer except for the fact that A) I paid $72 for a one hour hairstyle and B) This was my wedding TRIAL, a.k.a. supposed to be an indicator of what my hair will look like on my wedding day when it needs to hold for 13 hours. Stacy continued to mention that this should have been okay because the trials "are not meant to last long." WHAT?! You think it is okay to charge someone money for an admittedly half-assed job? Yeah. Not okay. You would think that she would say "you know, since it was such a short lasting style, come in and we will do a re-trial at no charge." No. Not at all. No sense of embarrassment or any attempt to make it right. Avoid like the plague. If you want a respectable salon in the area, try Amadeus in Rockville. Way better service and you actually get what you pay for.
