They were awesome! The DJs were friendly and energetic. They used fun inflatable toys to get kids (both little and big!) involved in dances. We had a blast using their service.
Our flower arrangements turned out beautifully. The florist met with the bride almost once a month until the wedding. But our flowers didn't come out the right color. We had asked for pastels but ended up getting bright purple and yellow instead of pastel pink and pastel yellow. The florist blamed it on the vendor, but I had no warning to expect the new colors. I showed up to the church the morning of the wedding and...let's just say I'm glad I was a calm bride. We received no offer of a discount. The arrangements were beautiful, though. Also, if you use this florist, just do your own pew bows and save yourself the money. I paid her to hang ours, but they weren't secured or "fluffed up."
A friend made our tiered cake, but we asked Hornbacher's to bake us two sheet cakes to ensure we had enough. The head cake decorator brainstormed with me until we had a great idea for our cakes. They were done early and tasted great. Plus, they were just what we had expected them to be. Side note: Their deli makes great veggie and meat trays for people to snack on before the wedding.
We heard over and over again that ours was the best reception food that our guests had ever tasted. The food was wonderful and very filling. We chose meats and sides that wouldn't be really messy. The food was half the price of a fancier caterer, so if you don't mind going a little more casual, this is a great food option. Their staff was friendly and always good to work with.
