Unfortunately, I had a very mediocre experience with Jan Davis Entertainment and Events. My event consultant was extremely slow in responding to me and apparently never sent the band we hired the list of songs we did and did not want them to play. Our band, Backstage Band, was mediocre at best. THe guy that sang our wedding song forgot the lyrics and his voice cracked on several occasions. The band that performed was NOTHING like the band in their video online. We were very disappointed. Thankfully we had a wonderful wedding despite this.
Mary Ruth was such a pleasure to work with. She met with my mom and I on several occasions to go over what we wanted and wow did she deliver! The flower arrangements were more beautiful than I could have imagined and she did exactly what I had asked. in addition to all of that she was responsive, wonderfully affordable, and a sweetheart to work with. I wholeheartedly recommend her!
Jim was an absolute pleasure to work with. I had voiced my concern to him that I did not want the videography to seem intrusive.... I did not notice him once the entire evening (but I know he was there!). Although we haven't received the video yet, I'm sure it is fantastic! Also, Jim worked with me to make sure I could fit a videographer into my budget and I can't thank him enough for that!
