Whilst AW's had some decent contacts and ideas, their effectiveness in wedding coordination was very poor. They often did not think of the most basic things couples would need on the day, were not thorough in making sure all that was promised was delivered and made important decisions without consulting my wife and I much to our dismay.
Also and most significant was their attitude to us as a client. At no time did we feel that we were their no.1 priorty, rather it was their own commission which they continually looked to increase.
After 4 months of asking we received our budget, 1 month before our wedding.... it was 4 times the figure we agreed and given so late we had no choice but to try and work with it.
If you have a unlimited budget, they may be for you although don't expect 5* treatment. If you have a budget and want to keep to it you're probably better off going somewhere else.
Our DJ from Trilogy Music was very professional and provided a fantastic service.
They are more than just a DJ who turns up on the day. We met with them prior to our wedding to discuss all aspects of our wedding, the music we liked/wanted for the wedding etc. They provided a whole portfolio of different types of lighting, music tastes, sound opportunities to suit our venue and needs.
However, what was most satisfying was the reaction we got from our guests. They were more than happy to cater for our needs as a mixed Afrikaans/English couple music wise and the energy on the floor was very good at all times.
We would certainly recommend Trilogy Music, they provide a first rate service.
They were probably the best aspect of our wedding reception. As a mixed Afrikaans/English couple we wanted both elements to feature at our wedding.
We had about 40 guests from abroad (all English speaking) and yet they were the people who liked the band the most. They were very professional, were happy to perform in both English & Afrikaans and most importantly, rocked the house down. There are very few decent bands around, we know, we searched for ages and whilst Jakkie Louw is an established Afrikaans band in their own right they were more than reasonable, financially and we would certainly recommend them to any couple who are looking for similar entertainment.
We were absolutely delighted with the service & end product we got from BluePrint Design Studio.
We had our save-the-date cards, invitations and wedding stationary all done their and our expectations were exceeded each time.
Not only were they financially very reasonably, Sanet, the designer and owner of the company would never accept second best. Until she and we were happy she would not stop working for us. They always worked to our schedule, met impossible demands set by us and produced first rate products.
From what I gather most of her business comes from referrals, clients returning as she does stationary for other events too and we would join them in recommending her also.
