When I interviewed Tony, he was great. He was super energetic and relieved a lot of my anxiety and fear about the logistics of the wedding ceremony/reception. However, when it came to the wedding, he did not perform up to my expectations. Previously, he had told me he had all of the equipment for the outdoor ceremony and the reception. but the day of the wedding, he called me while I was getting my hair done (the bride!) to tell me he didn't have the correct cables to stretch from the barn to the gazebo (for the ceremony). He told me the winery told him they had equipment they actually did not have. Of course this freaked me out and I started worrying like crazy. Luckily my family and bridesmaids stepped in and they figured it out. He did have the equipment and calling me was unnecessary and not the best idea. Then, at the reception, he played a lot of older music when I gave him a play list of the updated, newer music I wanted played. My bridesmaids had to go tell him several times that we wanted different music played. He's expensive and it's because he is supposed to essentially help run the ceremony and reception- in a way, a wedding planner. This includes being there for the rehearsal. But b/c Tony books so many weddings, he couldn't be at my rehearsal. THis turned out ok, but it was part of what we payed for. Tony is extremely nice and will work hard. But my experience with him was less than desirable. I would not recommend him even though I believe he is a good guy.
