Dori is my Mary Kay consultant. She came to the church and did my make-up as well as my bridesmaids and the mothers! She does a beautiful job!!
We rented tuxedos from Savvi Formalwear in Pleasant Valley Promenade (it's on Glenwood Avenue). They didn't do anything extraordinary but the tuxedos were very nice and the order came in correctly. My fiance & I actually changed our minds several times and the staff was happy to help every time we called or dropped by. I also ordered my gown from them. It's actually a Casablanca gown that I found at Carolina Bridal World (outlet in Smithfield) but Savvi gave us the best price, and deals on the tuxedos!!
Good selection. Great prices (they matched prices that I found lower elsewhere!). Delivered on-time. Only bad thing was they charged us $70 for pick-up on Sunday (b/c it's not a normal business day for them) but our reception venue said we had to have everything out by 10:00am the day after.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!! Ashley Stephenson & her husband David Teeter are SO talented. I highly recommend them to ANY & EVERY one!!! The employees were so welcoming at this little boutique. It's a bit pricey but so worth it. My Mom and I had a hard time deciding what would look the best with my gown, so they said "bring it in!". They found us a spot to hang it up and assisted us in finding the perfect necklace, bracelet and earring set!
After my first consultation, Donna had a vision of exactly what I wanted. We only had fresh flowers for my bouquet, the bridesmaids & all the bouts and corsages, so I wanted them to be beautiful. They were!
Cheyenne Brewington is just getting her company started, but makes the tastiest cakes!!! We had white cake w/ raspberry jam/mousse, chocolate cake w/ peppermint, and strawberry cake (with real strawberries) w/ strawberry mousse with real strawberries! They were all moist and so delicious!
Taylor Pittman, owner/DJ of TaylorMade DJ, is absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! He made our reception run smoothly. All of our guests had a blast! He is professional, sincere, easy going, and lively (but not cheesy). We had such a great reception thanks to Taylor!
